I'm actually quite impressed that Namah DID gave him back his hat. One would expect her to pretend to give it back before throwing it away and ruining the item (maybe with her horns).
In the main story, Namah is actually quite mature, even if she is still mischievous and ready to destroy her foes (often with painful and humiliating plans) and maybe we see her the beginning of this maturity: not always mayhem will make her free; sometime, acting and doing something nice can help you.
Lastly, the two line where she gives him back his hat is where Namah looks the cutest she ever been draw. She gives that little something that make you just want to hug her and never let go.

As much as I hate Namah's imprisonment. I simply love the relationships and interactions between her and the guards.

NEGOTIATIONS D:... actually as a diplomatic move as long as he's not the one to catch her next time he may have made some progress in the overall efforts at this moment, well played sir, you are a genius (doubt she's thinking anything more than "sucker fell for it"). negotiations with Namah are a lot like... now lets not offend anyone and just say some sort of back-stabber nation.

Lol I like how she bought into him having some sort of supernatural powers. As if he exists on every floor at once and can summon spikes out of nowhere. I guess I can't blame her for seeming a bit gullible since she's been trapped on that one floor her whole life though.
