Well, I must say that I am very impressed with the piece. Just looking at it makes me laugh cause i have seen relatives and friends in Vi's position and then my stomach be the subject for their food testing kinda like how Bobby is in that postion, I still get shivers from the thought XD ANYWAYS lol...
Visionary side it's a beautiful piece to look at, the shading is perfectly done, the fire's brightness is beautiful (I'm a sucker for great flame work) as well as the cracks of light from the shed gives it a great vibe.
Originality, i have seen some COOKING ART work this is by far one of the best i have seen, and you are putting your own vibe to it which is tremendous.
Technique wise, this is your style...your artwork and nobody else's, for that its automatically stupendous and very well EXECUTED.
The Impact now, like i had said it gives me laughs just imagining what Vi is cooking up in that....what looks like to be a pot of....needing your stomach pumped for a week...Vi you have a looooooooooong way to go e.deviantart.net/emoticons/a/a… " width="19" height="19" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="417" title="Sweating a little..."/> but see that right there gives your picture an impact that word cant describe and i love pictures that do that.
this picture in my view from Vision, Originality, Technique and Impact...deserve 5 out if 5 stars on all of them. Very well done and i can not wait to see more.

I still Love their Art Style they invented 7 years ago and I still Love their characters too, and this Prelude Misc Pic of Vi practicing her own cooking skills is adorable, They Make Great Colors, Great Stories, Great Concept, and a Great Diversity on their Disney-Anime Anatomy too, and Sometimes I wish there would be a Disney exclusive Anime story written and animated by Disney Animators using their own techniques on Anime, I once read Manga adaptation of the Disney Action RPG video game series: Kingdom Hearts, and I loved the Manga expression the Manga Writer/Artist did with the disney characters, it almost make me wish they could make a 12 episode Anime adaptation, but the artists and their Self Published Graphic Novel: DreamKeepers is still great, its just not easy for WebComic Writer/Artists to get that much recognition as the Creators of Axe Cop did though I hope that one day, DreamKeepers will be as big as Axe Cop is today, hell they might even get their own YouTube WebToon series someday like what Bravest Warriors does today. I hope you folks like my critique on this Pic?

One of my favorite things that I notice in your pieces is that you really take the time to make sure every inch of the canvas has some kind of storytelling device. I mean, the simple bucket and food items could have been enough, but then I look around and notice that you went a step further and put even extra nice details. Even that purplish jug at the bottom is a nice touch: good to know that the place isn't *completely* empty hahaha.
Normally this kind of thing can look overdone as I've seen stuff in the past that has too much, but you cleverly disguise that in the use of the lighting. Lighting can do soooo much with the way you perceive a piece, and in here, the attention is paid to the things that matter most: the way the foreground character has a contrasting backlight makes it stand out, but then I like the way my eye is directed down that hall and onto the back door. The pointing also helps too hahaha. In the end, the use of composition and lighting put the importance on the areas that matter most, and everything else is just icing on the cake.
So nice job! This tells a wonderful story visually!

Just seeing this without text bubbles just makes me wanna mess around with what they're saying:
Vi: "I swear Bobby, if you take one more step with that salt, I will hurt you."
Bobby: "But we need it for the food."
Vi: "The soup can live without the salt! It doesn't need any of that!"
Bobby: "No, it does. It says so on the ingredients."
Vi: "It's just a recommendation!"

I remember you sending this to me as a print right before or after the Prelude Collection came out but, this is such a fantastic and whimsical piece capturing the personalities of both of the beloved characters on show and one of the Konkords popping in to accentuate the mood nicely.
I do rather wonder what is being said though;that would be comic gold mine I bet!Between Vi's eyes and mouth and Bobby's astonishment I imagine any lip readers in the community are going to be having a lot of fun deciphering this.
As for Vi;two things is she allergic to the seasoning Bobby's bringing in or what else triggered this lively reaction? Also I realize she likes maintaining some semblance of femininity by brandishing her belly all the time but, even with an apron isn't that just a little bit dangerous while cooking especially given how combustible fur is?Well at least she doesn't have long hair like Lilith or there might be a rather embarrassingly cartoonish (It's Prelude after all!) incident!

I had in mind that she's not allergic to the spice- it's just that this is her day to cook, however terribly, and she resents the thought that perhaps more skilled chefs may want to intervene.
And actually, I think you hit on another good reason for aprons to exist in the Dreamworld... Combustible body covering would not be fun.

Heehe!I could certainly see that being fun to watch though Bobby might want to let is slide it just a little there given what Vi's holding and her infamous temper.I always love having cool characters do ridiculous things though;everybody has their quirks in real life.
Indeed combustible body covering would not be fun but, alas a Prelude-esque crispy character doodle in the vibe of a cartoon would be rather amusing!Somebody should totally do that to Bobby/Vi/Both and heck,I might even do it.
It had ought to be interesting seeing their GNS relationship though since I love the heck out of both their characters after the last finished Mace and Whip Prelude arc!

She seems to not want Bobby's help. Always such great drawings and colors you have., And they are a more realistic palet of colors too. I think mine comes out too neon or unrealistically bright.
