Recently I have been making short gifs of Kirby to improve my animation skills, as what better way to practice than with a pink ball? This is the fifth animation I have made of Kirby and I am very proud of how he turned out. With that said, it might be awhile before I post another Kirby animation as five is a nice happy ending number and Kirby salutes upon finishing a level. (Although this animation I made is more based on the old Kirby games where when Kirby falls on the ground he will face the camera and salute which is why there is that falling frame in there). The saluting Kirby is made and animated in Blender, a free software for all the broke people out there. I made Kirby look retro by setting the render resolution to 3% and by adding a very thick freestyle outline.Here are the other four animations of Kirby:
