Yesterday was eventful to say the least! My best friend Shantiel Alexis Vazquez and I took a drive down to the idling boats at Newport harbor. Shot some looks, sat on some yacht's, ya know, lived the life we don't have. In all seriousness, the setting was quite tranquil and it allowed me to clear my head (As much as I could without thinking of my new camera plunging to the depths) The native's just sat on their boats, reading, eating lunch or simply taking in the scene. There was definitely a sense of community, considering Shantiel and I snuck onto the deck, we exchanged a few words with the boat owners. "Hello, sir! do you mind if we shoot some photos hanging all over your million dollar yacht?" Okay maybe I didn't word it exactly like that, but by the end of the day I might as well should have. The chrome barring, ropes and balcony's were too much fun! I'm about to be a New "Yawker" so I have a pretty damn-good excuse to live up the beach life while I still can.
