Description This feather is framed in a really pretty golden oak deep shadowbox with velvel black backing, and is a single (really pretty, imho) feather that I painted with a harpy-eagle gryphon clutching a dark green orb. The feather is around 8-9 inches long, I believe, and this is still for sale if anyone is interested for $55 + s/h.

...It would, I mean I would have thought the 'hairs' [I dont know what they are called] of the feather would move apart if they were touched too hard...

they do. :-/ it usually takes a few layers of paint before they're "together" enough to paint well on.
