There remind me of all those awesome watercolour cards I keep envying! Did you mask of areas? Or was every single shape painted freehand?

It was masked with frisket, but poorly at that! I learned a hard lesson on this one: I used a air dyer to try to speed along the dry time of the frisket, but it actually turned into glue and ruined the surface of the paper. I'm glad I learned the lesson on a piece I wasn't deeply attached to, but it was what I get for rushing it!

Masking is one of those things we ALL learn the hard way. I've ruined many a-paper trying to gauge the time, length, and substance to get it to dry faster, or how long before rubbing off. Oye.

Funny, because some of my bottles say do NOT let it sit more than 24 hours... but I'm sure I've let a few of mine sit for 3 days. Go figure... so much trial and error. We have to write all of the scenarios down. For posterity, and for science.
