Speedpaint: Story Art: "The Enchantress and the Thief" - Painted in about two hours in Photoshop

At the time I did this, I haven't done any new art (aside from art-for-work) in about five months... which is a bit frightening and frustrating for someone as muse-driven as myself, but even amid all the chaos and stress pervading things, I downright INSISTED that one night I'd force myself to do art wholly for me.

I began a couple speed-paintings, but nothing really "stuck" or "felt right." It was too forced, with no motivation behind it other than to toy with color and form. Then I just decided "Well, I haven't drawn Sashah in awhile, I'll doodle her." Then I added a bit of shoulder here, a but of arm there and then went "damnit, I did another unmotivated portrait, arugh!" And then I went "If she's giving someone that -look-, it's probably Oberon..." So in he went! And then in went a gentle "hint" of background.

Flashy? Hardly. Theraputic? Oh yes.

And I don't regret a bit of it.

Trying to make an anthropomorphic wolf-person look female is still a bit of a trick. Maybe she's "poofy" due to it being a winter coat? I'm not entirely sure, but it's a good excuse.
