Description I had taken a few poses outside on my latest trip where I met lynn.I wanted to see the differences in natural lighting and the indoor lighting. I generally have to add shadows and reflections after I place a pose that was indoors in an outside scene so this again was to help me learn where and to what density shadows show in natural lighting. This pose and setting and lynns facial caught my attention and rather than trying to downsize her I had to leave it as it was. Adding the wings and Fairystone was just for her and I and that has to remain a secret. Hope all of you are well and happy

Wizard, I especially like this piece. The natural lighting really ties everything together. Plus, the flowers are such nice-vibrant colors. Splendid work! Oh, and thank you for commenting on my profile! I truly appreciate it. Keep up the mythological work, it rocks!

Thank you very much. That image meant a lot to me and lynn did excellent poseing work. It was my first attempt at natural lighting and it really does stand up against the indoor poses. If you get a chance check [link] this deviation and read what is below the image. Lynn is the lady in that image too and it may tell why this image meant so much to me

those are some very pretty wings you made for her. Soooo...how do you do it? Do you have some wings already premade and paste it on her or do you work from scratch?

dreamweaver69 In reply to squishiness [2005-10-31 07:27:24 +0000 UTC]

I scanned those wings and then worked in an opaicy setting the transparent wings like dragonfly take a long time to work in the transparencies

Thanks
That was my first chance at an outdoor shoot and I loved the outcome and the shadows. I have watched your work and there is something magical about the woods and nature and I studied your images for shadows I learned a lot from you even the Indian Pipe I had in an image and the legend was great. Hope you are doing well and thanks again
