Description (Here we are, the younger twin of the Snake duo, Connor Gardens, aka Hiss! His cobra hood was fairly hard to draw, though. I don't think I did it right, either...)
(I think he's the first character I've ever drawn with two earrings in one ear.)

Name: Connor Gardens
Nickname(s): Hiss (superhero alias)
Age: 20
Eye Color: Amber
Hair Color: Reddish Brown
Powers, Abilities, and Weapons:
- Super Strength: One of Hiss's main powers, his super strength allows him to deal strong blows to his opponents, and lift heavy objects up to three tons.
- Super Senses: Another main power, Hiss is able to heighten all of his senses at will. He is able to see, smell, and hear better than normal humans.
- Rubber Body: A lesser-used superpower, Hiss is capable of contorting and changing his body into different shapes and sizes.
- Poison Pulse: Another lesser-used superpower, Hiss is able to strike his opponents with paralyzing poison from his hands. He rarely uses this power, though, since it cannot always help him in fights.
Character: Bold, fiery, and blunt, Connor, while the youngest of the twins, is more mature than Ophie, and is capable of talking to others with no problem. However, this doesn't mean he likes to be around people, and tries to avoid talking to people when he doesn't need to. Surprisingly, he's a very good house keeper, and usually is the one to look after his twin sister.
Background Info: The youngest of twins in a family of five, Connor wasn't as content as his twin sister was with their lifestyle, since he wanted more. This changed when it was discovered that they had inherited their mother's superpowers. With this discovery, she took the twins to the mountains so that they could train to use their powers properly and wisely. For 15 long years, the twin endured back-to-back harsh training, learning different fighting styles to suit their personalities. For Ophie, because she felt free from responsibility and was the more graceful of the two, learned how to use her rubber body and Poison Pulse to strike with quick incapacitating blows to her opponents and giving them no time to retaliate. Connor, on the other hand, was more grounded, provides support to his sister in times of need, and was usually aware of his surroundings, so he learned how to use his super strength and his super senses to deal with strong reflexive blows, while standing perfectly still. For those long years, they remained unaware of the changes that the US was going through during their training...
Info: After finishing their long years of training, the two returned to civilization, only to find out that the Superpower Prohibition Act had passed, causing a strong surge in supervillains. It was only recent though that a man had challenged it and won. That man was a new superhero, one that had taken up the name of Magnet Magnus, the idol of the twins. While they were surprised and impressed that the new Magnet Magnus had defeated the Mad Hatter and his Insane Asylum with such ease, they refused to acknowledge him as the successor to the Magnet Magnus mantle. The two would challenge him to a battle to see if he was worthy of the name, and if not, they would execute him on the spot. While the battle was in their favor in the beginning, they found out that Magnet Magnus II was more resourceful and practical than the original, and were defeated with ease. Initially ashamed that their years of training had done nothing for them, Magnet Magnus II offered his hand of friendship to them, stating that they had very good intentions of the battle, and that they were the best fighters he had ever seen. Moved by his selfless and forgiving nature, the twins took up his offer, and became an important part of his group of friends.
Trivia:
- I should mention that their mother is named Sara Gardens, and her superhero alias was "Serpenter", and that she utilized all of her powers in a more balanced fashion, though during her training, she realized that the twins were more in tune with some aspects of their powers than others, and so trained them to use those specific powers. On their last year, though, she would die from old age.
- You want to know what happened to their father and older sibling? I'm not going to say quite yet, since that will be a part of their story.
- Like I said, I wanted the two to follow different aspects of the powers that they had inherited from their mother.
- I also wanted to make the two have different personalities, in order to keep up the contrasts.

Oooh, I find Hiss quite interesting; he's not a "typical" elastic boy, instead he likes to muscle his way out of trouble.

I think its cool to see snake base heroes. It seems to me that most (if not all) snake based characters are usually antagonists in other stories. Like those snake villians in Marval and that Cobra Clan in DC.

Yea, I have quite a few stories where the heroes are snake-themed. I'm usually aggravated by how people seem to think that snakes are naturally evil, even though the only evils they ever do is protect themselves and their territory.
