Absolutely stunning! This reminds me of touring fancy houses, where you're struck by all the detail-- so it's so cool seeing that sort of detail as the backdrop to such a well-known scene. I love the two characters too! And the composition! It's all great!

What refs did you use to make this or did you do it all by thought alone? What medium did you use? It's stunning work and this gives me some strength in my current prospective interior pieces I'm working on. I'm doing 5 total for my novel illustrations. Each one will be more complex than the last, so I'm forcing myself to do what my art teachers taught. Hard work, but will be worth it. How long did this piece take you? I love it.
