Wow I like the whole scenerey that you decided to capture in this painting.
I especially like the perspektive, the purplish blue sky + moon + clouds and the white building as well as the display of light & shadow on the whole desert landscape.
That is such a brilliant pic...I absolutely adore it!!!!!

Just having yet another peek at this and realised to my dismay I haven't told you how much I love it either by comment or fav.
Not quite sure what hits me in the face first, be it the colours, the sky, the depth, it all flows so well. Superb and yes, it has been fav'd now

it has one great fantasy feel -- rather pleasant to look at due to the wonderful mesh of colors that you included ... from the purple in the sky to the orange-brown sands, it all goes so well together suprisingly.

i knew this was going to be a fav before i even opened the full view.
And yeah, you need to do something about that res, because as any chick will tell you, SIZE MATTERS.
This is just an all-around great piece. The lighting and shadows show attention to detail...my only criticism is that the bright flare on the left is a bit distracting from the overall.

Your lighting is also really good. The shadows across the sand dunes are really good.

beautiful landscape. very romantic in style, with the solitude and the exotic castle in the middle of it. reminds me of a fairy tale I read ages ago. I only read it once in a library. I can't remember anything about it, only that it was about a boy and a long journey through a fantasy land - but I have no doubt that it was the best fairy tale I ever read in my entire life. for some reason this image brought me back to that experience... I love it.

Great painting! The colors and the texture of the sky and the sand are excellent. The structures fit very well into the imagery you portrayed. The trees are jagged, but I like em there...they give a nice balance to the piece.
