THAT IS VERY NICE... WHERE DO YOU GET DISNEY SCETCHBOARD? I WOULD LIKE TO TRY SOMETHING LIKE THAT.

A Disney Sketch Pad is like a cheap kids version of a WACOM tablet [link] It's a pressure sensative tablet with a pen that plugs into the board. I'm not sure they still make them, I've had mine for about 10 years now (you can check eBay, you might find one there). I however have since graduated to a WACOM tablet

Such a nostalgic and warm piece. I love the little details in the grass and this whole scene is just beautifully peaceful

I know its great that you did this with a sketch board, yeah, it really is.
but.. its such a textbook composition..
I can't find -anything- (and even a crooked rock with bird shit on it would have done it for me) special about it..
the drawing is good, but it has no soul/feeling.. its just colors and borders lined up to form a few objects next to each other.

......ok thanks.
I know its plain...it was never supposed to be spectacular....when I drew this, I was learning photoshop and to use a tablet with photoshop. It was a learning excercise the happened to get DD.

...but thanks for your vote of confidence anyways....

I apologize, for the last thing I was aiming for was to make you feel bad.
but you didn't say anywhere in your description that it was a learning/testing/experimental work..
its not even in the "experimental" category, thats why I tried to analyze it so seriously..
its a job very well done if it was just experimental/learning.. I can't wait to see what you have in store next.

Sorry, I was fighting against severe drowsiness at the time as well.......zzz
Cheers!

Oh I envy you sooo much! I wish I could draw trees and scenery. I've got a picture called Swing and I've been trying to add a tree and some background to it, but so far all my attempts have failed! I'm sooo jealous!

Holy crap, I need to get myself a Disney sketch pad! This deviation would defenitely wow it's creators. The wheat, grass, and sky are defenitely the best features of this deviation, I think. There's a lot of detail and work put into this, and it shows. Wether you pulled this landscape from memory or imagination, I you chose it very well.

The strokes on the grass and the wheat is simply fabulious. Everything has a soft, inviting look (soft colors, soft textures) which is why I find this image so visually appealing. Great job!
