Description
This was not drawn by me completely. I only edited certain parts of the original pictures and added in some parts that were cut off from some of the pictures. These are various stages of Dr. Robotnik's life from Archie's Sonic the Hedgehog comic series.One or some of the pictures were each drawn by various artists, and I'm not sure exactly which ones worked on some of the specific ones. I do know that Patrick "Spaz" Spaziante did the pencils for Dr. Ivo Robotnik, though.

Jep, pretty much. At some point in the early Archie Comics, Sonic was like "Speed is my middle name." and his father was like "No, your middle name is Maurice." and then Sonic was trying to not get his first name revealed which later turned out to be Ogilvie. A lot more embarassing than Ivo, don't you think?

I take Robotnik over Eggman, everyday. Hell, even Robotnik's name sounds intimidating.

I'd walk down it with either. Eggman's always kicked ass and is arguably the greatest vllain in gaming to me.

Robotnik and Eggman are the same person in the games.
SatAM's version of him may be dark but that's not how I feel the character should be. He's supposed to be a villain you can laugh at when things blow up in his face but that's pretty damn dangerous when he's serious...like he is in the games.
And the game version's sorta caused a hell of a lot more destruction than the SatAM one ever did.

I know they're same. But what if we need a serious dark character to be feature in a Sonic movie and they decide to stick the name Eggman on that character? It would be silly.

Considering what Eggman's done throughout the games I hardly the name's anything to scoff at. Besides, Eggman is just his "villain" name. His real name is Ivo Robotnik in the games.

I'm Eggman!" "That's a stupid name!"

True, but the current Dr. Eggman had pretty much the same history up until his battle with Sonic from his original universe where he Roboticized himself. Even though those first two pictures are from Robotnik Prime, they are most likely the same for the current Eggman's past, too. As for the cyborg version, his name was given to be Robo-Robotnik v2.0 on the official blogs. In the comic, he was just called Robo-Robotnik.

I forgot to post my postscript.
* I am going wholly by memory,as all my Sonics were stolen from the cellar in a series of burglaries and a home invasion (ending in 12-27-2016) They were stored down there as I had no room elsewhere.
The masked thug stole almost all the comics in the cellar, a VCR monitor, money from my wallet, my debit cards (quickly canc. by the banks) and most of my coin collection going back to the Civil War. The coin collection has been rebuilt, at cost, replacing vintage coins that were inherited or acquired in pocket change. I have not replaced the lost comics, but I inventoried the ones stored elsewhere.
If I did but half of the things I want to do to him, the world would think me harsh.
