Description A panoramic of a small beach in Vancouver. That's downtown on the right; to the left are the north shore mountains. Stanley park is also visible.
I thought i ought to submit something from around here, so, here it is.

cool great panorama . the water seems to bend at the middle of the photo..
btw there`s a glitch in the right part of the img, on the mountain, to the left of those tall buildings

yeah, the water bends quite a bit actually, i may try and fix that. the glitch seems to extend through the building too. thanks for pointing that out. me thinks i need to do some more work on this pic. thanks for your input, it's appreciated.

Nice panoramic, great contrast, only thing that lets it down is the focus on the right

oh and in the middle you should clone stamp the water a bit. if you don't know how to do that i have a tutorial on it

yeah, i didn't put much work into this pic, ideally i'd like to retake the pics (which i might do, as its not far from where i live), and i'd probably use a tripod, as the focus problem is from me not holding the camera steady. as per the water, i hadn't noticed that before, thank you for pointing it out.
thanks for the comment and the feedback, much appreciated.

You're a Vancouverite!!! I've been around there a couple times, and no matter how gross the ocean water is in Vancouver I'm still drawn to it...
Nice picture!!

I've never lived in Vancouver, but I know people there so I go visit every few months. It's nice to go down to the water and hang out at the beach but I wouldn't want to go in the water, there's just too much polution there.
You should see where I grew up, there are so many beautiful sandy and rocky beaches... and since it's far from any cities you will often find yourself with all those beautiful beaches all to yourself. It'd be great for taking pictures if I had a digital camera.... but I don't. I really miss that place, I even miss the rain Snow rust doesn't make up for the nice, fresh air rain brings ^___^
Whoo that was loong...

yeah, i like how the rain keeps everything clean and fresh. and the smell of wet concrete is just great.

The concrete makes a strange sound when the rain is just starting to make it wet though, when I was a kid I thought that it was crickets chirping because they didn't like the water...
I love it when the water puddles on the concrete though... it's so pretty and reflective. When I was in Vancouver last spring we were driving to where we were staying just after it had rained. The rain had formed a layer of water over the road surface and all the lights (many of which were blue and added to the effect) were reflected almost perfectly in the water... It was very beautiful.

yeah, it makes it a little harder to drive, but it sure is nice to look at.
