so here's a work in progress pixie. gonna give her wings when i color it. outlined with the 2 copics pictured. i did mess up on the leg a bit due to accidental pressure on the pen. i am very pleased with it considering the hair is cool looking and inspired by my wife. can't wait to color it.Related content

i used a black copic sketch marker and a dark red/brown copic (i don't remember the name and number at the moment). the brush nib works wonders. it flows so smoothly and feathers just at the right moments.

there's something about the female form that is mesmerizing to draw. so i agree that it's easier to draw.

the black is surprisingly deep and rich. i've never used a black this fine. i had a prisma color black before and found it very dark brown instead. copics are the best.

Yeah, the thing about Prismacolor is the color on the outside usually isn't what actually comes out...and they're kinda streaky. I've never thought of using the copics to ink though, I use sakura micron pens to inkthen color with copics, but it sems like a really neat idea!

microns work great too. i use those normally but i really like the lines that can be achieved with the brush nib.
