Description Name: Victor Amadeus Strauss
Gender: Male
Age: 23 (about 723 technically, as he was turned into a statue for about 700 years)
Hair color: Dark brown/black
Eye color: Hazel (looks almost yellow)
Favorite color: partial to blue, but no real preference
Favorite food: no real preference
Powers: Very well versed in hand to hand combat. Victor possesses immense physical strength. He can demolish a building single-handedly and is capable of lifting up to four tons. However, he feels the strain of such weight, and it is dangerous for him to use this strength for prolonged periods, as his bone density is not that much greater than an average human.
Victor also possesses great regenerative powers. He can heal from almost any wound in a matter of minutes to days depending on the severity. This also means that Victor cannot get drunk or feel the effects of drugs, as his body will kick the foreign substance from his body very quickly.
The only limit to his healing abilities are the scars across his body. These are actually curse marks, and damage inflicted on these parts of the body were designed to debilitate Victor if he got out of line.
Although these aren't powers they bear mentioning:
Victor is bilingual, speaking both German (his native tongue) and English. He knows a smidgeon of Spanish. (Which is used to comedic effect at one point.) Victor also has moderate skill with the violin and enjoys painting.

Story: Victor Amadeus Strauss was born in Germany in the late 14th Century. An only child, his world was destroyed when bandits destroyed his tiny village and murdered his parents when he was 9. The event so traumatized him, particularly the death of his mother which occurred in front of him, that he went blind for a year. Victor wandered the countryside, taking any help from those nice enough to grant food or shelter, until he met Silmane, a kind girl two years older than him. Silmane's family was actually quite wealthy, and upon her insistence towards her father, Victor was taken in as a member of the household. Silmane helped Victor overcome his forced blindness, and it was in her home that Victor found his love of the arts. As time passed, Victor fell in love with Silmane, and wished to marry her. However, her father had arranged for her to be wed to a wealthy man named Artemis. Trying to take things in stride, Victor decided to meet Artemis, but upon seeing him, Victor flew into a blind rage. Before him stood the man who had killed his mother. Victor attempted to kill Artemis, only to be savagely beaten by the man. Artemis explained to Victor that he was no longer human. The raid on Victor's home had been nothing more than a test of the powers bestowed upon him by Silmane's father Arman, who was in fact a powerful sorcerer. Artemis said that he admired Victor's spirit and that he too would benefit from the kind of power he had, but there would need to be control. Artemis proceeded to brutally carve cursed wounds into Victor, the process ultimately killing him. Silmane arrived shortly after, and just as her father had done for Artemis, she brought Victor back to life and infused him with unnatural power. As Victor awoke and saw Silmane pouring the last of her spell into his once lifeless body, he snapped. The betrayal was more than he could bear, and as soon as he could move, Victor attempted to kill his former love. Reflexively, Silmane turned Victor to stone. It was later decided he be left that way.
700 years passed, and Victor, now thought to be a statue called "The Broken Man" was sitting in a museum in the U.S. A young college girl named Elizabeth Ramirez, on a trip with friends, kissed the "statue" on a dare. Little did she know that she possessed ancestral ties to Silmane's family, and that her act would break Victor free from his prison. In gratitude, Victor swore an oath to be Elizabeth's, or Liz as she prefers, guardian for the rest of her days. However, Victor will meet a personal goal. Knowing that sorcerers are immortal, Victor intends to one day settle the score with Silmane and her father. And if Artemis is still out there somewhere, Victor will kill him.

Whew. Finally got this done. I started this bloody thing last year for Pete's sake.

Thanks much. I could have probably elaborated more on Silmane's sudden shift into a villain, but I had just pulled an all-nighter and my brain was barely working at the time I posted this. I've done profiles like this for two other characters, if you're interested...just a bit of shameless self-promotion... >_>
