Despicable Me was such a wonderful surprise. When we first started seeing previews for it, I was immediately intrigued, but when I saw it in theaters my expectations were surpassed (that doesn't happen often). The sequel was also a nice surprise! They're both such sweet little movies and I love them to pieces. Clever, creative, and so full of heart.
Plus it never fails to make me laugh.
As Gru is one cool cat, I thought I'd be daring and go for some psychedelic colors~

Despicable Me is such a great movie. I still haven't seen the sequel, unfortunately.
Your version of Gru kind of looks like Lex Luthor. Then again, I tend to think every bold guy looks like Lex.

Hahah, any resemblance to Lex is completely coincidental. The only Lex I've ever really known was Bruce Timm's Justice League Lex, and I haven't thought about that for a while now. 'Sides, Gru is way groovier than Lex. ;D
