Description Today was a marvelous day where my chemistry professor took about half of the hour to hand back graded quizzes and homeworks. Which means... doodle time!

I'm currently reading Jeff Smith's BONE (I'm about halfway through the penultimate book), and I love it pretty hard. His clever mixings of cartoon characters with more realistic characters is just a pleasure to see.

So, if you've been around long enough, you'll know that I have a thing for hands. Long, gnarly, knobby hands are even better. Soooo... it was a given that I would adore the Hooded One. (Also the fact that the Hooded One is a (spoiler) just made it that much better. )

I thought I should slap some colors on this and post it because BONE needs more lovin'. And then my sister reminded me that she's having a contest for old people ----> [link] <---- and that was that.

I'm almost done with Bone. It's amazing! I'm on the part where the Bones, Thorn, Gran'ma, and Bartleby are walking through the Ghost Circles.

For personal use, yes. For mass production where you gain a profit from it, no.
Also this is a fan art for the BONE series, so perhaps you'd want to find some original artwork for your album?

Im aware its from BONE, but that doesn't bother me. Lots of bands use other outside influences on their album art, and sometimes they do this for a certain easter egg. Just like Atreyu did with Never Ending Story ,or every other hardcore band did with Gutsave Dore ,or The Devil Wears Prada does with Dan Mumford.
Anyways...
I'll pay and credit you for the art.
Or better yet... Im going to use this for a mockup, and THEN if any of my band members like it.... (IF YOU WANT) we can talk business.
Maybe a hole booklet design?
Its going to be on 7" vinyl also.

it was really creepy what happened with 'the hooded one'. Fantastic ending Apparently there are some post bone series story arcs out there, I just want this to be a movie so hard....and directed by peter jackson!

Great work! You really captured the creepy factor of The Hooded One I was surprised to see "Pencil and CG". I would have sworn it was watercolor! Good job!

AAAAGGHHHH Bone is AWESOME!! Jeff Smith is a genius and I really, really need to buy the Bone collection book. I heard he was making a new series...but I don't know more than that.

Nice work on one of the series' villains. You really got the "Hooded One's" look down, the wrinkles in the hood, the details on the hands are also well done.
