Description I tried coloring this one for like an hour but it just wasn't happening. Then I thought I'd just mess around with the lineart so here we are.

Originally I wanted this one to have very subdued desaturated coloring, but even that minimal amount of color just wasn't happening. Even though this one didn't go the direction I wanted it to I'm still quite pleased with it! It probably works better like this than my initial vision. The complete lack of color better fits the mood I was going for. Funny how things work out.

I love the long feel of the neck and torso. I really like that you can see the other eye between the hair, I couldn't tell that from the thumbnail but wow it adds a lot to the full picture. I love the starkness of this piece, it makes it feel so emotive.

Why thank you! Eirlys' hair usually completely covers that side her face, so I wanted to try at having just a peek of her other eye this time. It was a lot of fun for me to render. I'm glad you enjoy it!
I'm glad you enjoy the high contrast to this piece as well. I don't know why but it just didn't want to be colored. x3

Love the minimalist coloring and the rough shadow effect behind Eirlys

I completely agree with Grimmy's comment. The picture really has that uncomfortable feeling, but it's so beautiful in the same sense because I know she has some sort of harsh past.

Ooo, I like this in monotone with that computer-glitch effect to it. Β It makes this picture feel so discomforting, like there is so much cacaphony around Eirlys that it is painful. Β Really nice work. Β :>

Thanks babe! I was going for that kind of overload look/feeling. (It was a rough couple of weeks--test after test--and this was good for catharsis.)

PS
I don't know but have you seen any good tutorials on drawing chubby/fat people around?

Not off the top of my head, no. You could probably just google it and get some good results. But I'd really recommend drawing from life/reference. Really practice loose/giving shapes.
