Just a little art therapy. These last few week I've had a lot of my social and emotional support structures kind of collapse out from under me. Seriously, two things have gotten me through it: hope for my art, and hope for my writing.Don't ever let anyone tell you dreams are stupid, weak things. Often they're the only thing that let you sleep at night and the only thing that get you up in the morning.

And they shine despite all the difficulties we are confronted with. Like the little glowing thing in the picture. I like it how those little spots of light catch the viewerΒ΄s eye and make them create the whole landscape in their mind. I imagine rocks and a small shelter on the right, open plains on the left.

Yeah, dreams really do help. I've always been fascinated by dream symbolism (though I guess I take more of a Jungian approach).
Nice work on this, it's minimalistic but well detailed and composed.
