No. Not unless you pay me. I got out of the video game industry as a professional artist for just this reason. Nothing is free, and good art definitely shouldn't be free. Your game shouldn't be free, either. Someone's making money in the industry, but I have a feeling it's people who already have money. Look into what Candy Crush is trying to do to intellectual property laws, or how the SE artists on Life of Pi lost their jobs and were protesting outside the Oscars while the film won and Rhythm and Hues was bankrupt.
If you're serious, send me a note so you can send me $100 through Paypal. Otherwise, money talks and bullshit walks. Sorry (although I shouldn't have to apologize for wanting money for my work.)

It looks cool. But the animation is kinda jerky, its like one or two frames are slightly not in sync with the others. There also seems to be a few white pixels left near his tail and his head... but overall its still pretty good.

The leg placement is so perfect. Did you do it from reference or was that all from memory?
Fantastic work.

These are just amazing! They look right out of a videogame, the pixelisation and animation both have just the right feel. I know what you mean about it being addictive! How many frames are each?
π: 0 β©: 1
Droemar In reply to Majnouna [2007-12-17 22:18:01 +0000 UTC]
The walk was 10 frames, the run 6, and the pant 4. Thanks!
π: 0 β©: 0
Droemar In reply to EbolaSparkleBear [2007-12-14 20:26:19 +0000 UTC]
Um ... too long, considering. At least, for the first one. I was doing every frame one by one, and in the later two, I was doing them three or four at a time.
This one took about 10 or 12 hours altogether. The panting one took 3, and the running one took about 2.

0.0 this is awesome! where did you find the base for this if you don't mind my asking?
π: 0 β©: 1
Droemar In reply to EvlonArts [2007-12-14 17:21:05 +0000 UTC]
I did a Google search for "dog sprite animation", and a bunch of old video game sprites popped up. My base was the hellhound in Dungeons and Dragons for NES or SNES, I believe.

Very nice animation! ^^
But the coloring isn't very consistent in each frame.
Oh, and this WILL get stolen, so I recommend you slap your credit in it (covering part of the wolf). Same goes for any other gif ^^
