Description
First of all, I will admit I am a rabid Warcraft fan. Played all 3 games and I'm now hopelessly addicted to the mmorpg. I love the storylines and just about everything about it. Anyone who's interested in looking me up can find me as Inilusya on Laughing Skull, Chimerae on Mal'Ganis, and Daine on Cenarian Circle.

That having been said, this is not my character. This is my brother's Xmas gift, his troll hunter Braji (he plays on Mal'Ganis, too.) His little pet is called Slicey. My brother has a brilliant sense of humor, don't he? Even though he's a hunter/tracker type, he has led me and my companions in the exact opposite direction of where we need to be going many a time. Chalk up to the fact that he's a hunter, not a mapreader.

Anyway, I hate colored pencil, but it always gives such a beautiful result. So time consuming. The composition of this was really hard, too. I spent about 4 hours trying to orientate the sketch. I finally had to take the crap sketch from my sketchbook, scan it in, blow up, flip it, and do a transfer onto the bristol board. Thank you, computers. About ... 25 hours went into this, I guess? I also cheated and used markers on this in places, usually in the spots that needed to be darkest or that needed a glaze to smooth out the layer of color. I'm very pleased with the pose and the linework on this. The color is just the icing on the cake. I have never given my brother anything handmade by me. This will be the first. Let's hope he likes it.
