Description
This is the cover (back and front) for Cats and Rivers, the second book in my series set in the Planescape D&D game setting. A simple and straightforward layout, but I think it works. Featuring Shilling, a celestial kitten and the newest lead character. Isn't she adorable??
And yes, she's got a hydra plushie

Needless to say, Planescape is copyright TSR, which folded and I guess it goes to WotC, who have abandoned the setting like the wankers they are.

Once again, another wonderful story within a fantastic setting. I actually found myself wanting to fight alongside Garadun for a number of scenes; at the very least wanting to aid him. I love the loss and gain of magic items and companions, the survivalist's journey through several planes of existence and the hereafter, and the complete dismantling of the Elven Love Song. I also liked the way you placed the celestial kitten in the foreground of the story and even some of the action; it was obvious you weren't content with making her a background detail that occasionally gets noticed.
Wonderful work and definitely worth a reread. And I must say that I like not only Garadun, but the places he goes to and the people he meets; good and bad, intentional and unintentional. I wonder if he'll eventually have a regular male partner for these ventures?

Firstly, thank you very much for the kind words and support. Knowing that my writing has made a difference or simply given someone a bit of good entertainment makes all the work worthwhile
The Planescape setting is a wonderful and easy place to create stories because there's just so many possibilities out there. I always do my best to make things interesting and non-stereotypical when it comes to characters, plotlines and individual scenes or events.
Shilling is most definitely *not* a background detail. She's as much a leading character as Gar or Cera or Laurie or Lilyglade; and there'll be just as much if not more of her in the next book (which I'm about halfway through writing at this time). She's a total sweetie, so how can you not love her?
Again, thank you. I'm hoping to get some technical problems out of the way in the near future, and when I do, Cats & Rivers will be available in print format (the way books should be)
