New Mad Max movie is out! And it is freaking awesome action-pack! : D Loved to see the good old road warrior, Max on the wheels once again. And newest the video game too. ( Even I'm unable to play it with my Pc. ) X'P Such shame~
Having a fanfiction about Mad Max crossovers with MLP does sounds a silly idea.
Most of Mad Max crossovers what I had read, are focus on the Fallout: Equestria universue, where a equestrian becomes Max. Or having Rainbow Dash/Big Mac portray as Mad Max. But not directly crossover with Mad Max himself. A idea having The mane 6 trying create bond with Max does sound good. But it isn't easy, since Max sees relationships with other people as creating an unbearable vulnerability in himself. ( PTSD ) Just like in every movie, he return into the wasteland, where he belongs, to continue to wander as the mythical Road Warrior.
He's a man who wants only to survive but hasn't lost all of his heart and selflessness despite his reluctance to help.
Also you can't have good Mad Max crossover without Max's car. ( Since Max's natural skill is driving. ) Or you having just a another "Beyond Thunderdome" story. A idea having Max search for the gasoline, gives him a reason for wandering into Equestria for looking for fuel and something "useful" to help Max to survive. ( Just like in The Video game. )
As for a villain role: anyone could be a one. Having Max fight off Queen Chrysalis's minions, Beating the raiding Diamong Dogs, jne jne~

Well, there unfortunately isn't a fic on it, but I can come up with one. Basically, after mad max escapes from some rouges,he and his car are caught in a strange explosion. It leads him to a world of ponies, and being the person he is, or pony as of now in this case, he tries to avoid friendship. When he was caught in the explosion however, not only did he and his car make it, but it also created an eviler version of himself. Not only will he have to cope with his new surroundings and decide if he wants to stay for the peace or try to find a way back home, but he'll have to also have to fight all that is dark in him as well. It's pretty basic, but with more work it could become something more; what do you think?

Meh, not necessary. I don't think Max would be interested taking part of MLP daily episodes with Mane Six. Even he is a pony now.
He would rather work alone, than tag along with a bunch of alien horses, who are speaking about Friendships and magic bullshit, while his world has none of that. Focusing to find a way back home.
But sooner or later he has to ask himself: is this what he really wanna? Return to a world, where he has to run away from a marauders & a bandits everyday, looking for food, gas & ammo. Trying to survive.
