A first I thpought he was Sado from Bleach, but now I'm kinda happy he isn't cuz this one way to sexy to be Sado. And the lamb make the pic just so adorable.

I think my favorite part of this would have to be the scar around his neck; for those who don't know, John the Baptist was beheaded by King Herod. Very interesting interpretation. I absolutely love this one.

Just wanted to drop a note saying i ADORE this series, the whole idea is fab. Always been partial to religious themes and I love what you've done with it. Artistically, this is my fav. The clothes really do look *wet* and his hand really looks like he's trying to hold something heavy. Cute lamb hooves, too.

I appreciate your work very much!This theme seems to me well-regarded.The drawing has much quality, the details, and that color!Gorgeous!I like especially this Jean "Baptiste" version... but it seems to me that lamb isn't the symbol of Jean Baptiste but the Jean Evangelist symbol. I think Jean Baptiste religious icon is distinguished by dressing furs... its my opinion,right? I wish to see the next pictures of this serie. keep up doing this good work!

The drawing looks great and I love the concept for the series. Just for a tiny lil fact that it sorta would seem that the sheep would fall how you drew it or maybe it's just me. Just a lil thing and the drawing just looks great.

My god... what an INTERESTING interpretation of the Saint! *grins* Amazing job, very well done. The lamb is adorable and fluffy and realisitc, the background is lovely, AWESOME attention to detail, (btw, I get my Saints mixed up, what's the story behind the neck scar? Was HE the one that queen had beheaded? Because I kinda think so...) the wet-cloth look is very, ah, realistic, got that paper-thin nigh-transparent quality down pat...
...Not to mention, well-built, purty, nearly naked priest.

No, Judas Iscariot is the one who "ratted Jesus out" to the Pharisees (high priests, leaders of the Jews). The Pharisees couldn't kill him (something to do with the Sabbath; I can't remember exactly) so they got the Romans to do their "dirty work".
