*sighs* This one of those things that boggle my mind and anger me more than anything else..........

A majority of people nowadays aren’t even fully giving certain current cartoons a chance only because of simple things such as gay couples, transgender characters, etc., but the main reason is usually the animation designs by CalArts animation. While I do agree that the bean-chin design is a bit repetitive, it just annoys me that a lot of people are saying things like “Brace yourselves, because pretty soon, every modern cartoon will be a CalArts bullcrap show that only exists to give out a political message.” etc etc.

These are also one of many reasons why the hatedoms for shows such as Steven Universe and OK K.O. Let’s Be Heroes are a thing. Now before anyone gets any wrong ideas, I’m absolutely okay if people hate said shows in general, but believe me, the hatedoms for these two shows are absolutely horrible. They pretty much say a lot of bad things about the shows’ creators without any REAL proof whatsoever such as “Steven Universe was only created by and made for SJWs,” “The creator of OK K.O. adds hips to the female characters because he’s a sick f**k” etc. And they also say a lot of BS about the fans like “All Steven Universe fans are rabid-shippers/psychopaths,” “People only like OK K.O. because it has sexy women in it.” etc. *facepalms hard* ARE YOU FREAKIN’ KIDDING ME????? Not all Steven Universe and OK K.O. fans are like that, but do those ignorant people learn or even fully think twice? NO!!!!!

*breathes in and out* Sorry for the vent/rant, I just needed to get this off my chest........(*gulps* here comes the aggressive comments.........)

EDIT: Thanks to info by my good friend , the art style is actually called the “six faces” art style. Not CalARTs. Because most of the shows that have this “style” were created by people who didn’t even go to CalARTs, if you wanna learn more, check out Star Giant’s Pony Life review or MrEnter’s Thundercats Roar review.
