Hello folks, DropBox5555 here, and I am here to discuss about one of the latest, Disney+ original series, Muppets Now. The idea is that The Muppets have each created their own mini series/segments for their new streaming show, but Scooter is trying so hard to upload each episode of those segments on time, while also facing obstacles such as some of the other Muppets trying to tell him something. And the segments we have so far include: Life Style with Ms Piggy, Muppet Masters (one of my two absolute favorite segments), Økėÿ Døkęÿ Køøkïñ (my least favorite segment), Mup Close and Personal, Pepe's Unbelievable Game Show, and last but not least, Muppet Labs Field Test (another one of my two most favorite segments).

Now for me, I am mixed on this new series. I mean, there are both good things about it, and some not-so-good things about it. I mean, I really loved the Muppet Masters segments where Walter tries to discover the hidden talents of each of the other muppets (especially the one where he finds out that Kermit is secretly a photo-bomber, and what makes it even funnier is that Kermit is pretty much quick in a flash when photo-bombing). And I also really loved Muppet Labs Field Test as well, it was pretty much, Dr. Honeydew and Beaker's usual antics. However my LEAST favorite segment would have to be Økėÿ Døkęÿ Køøkïñ. Don't get me wrong though, I like the Swedish Chef, and I really loved his two YouTube videos where he tried to make jack-o-lanterns and popcorn. However his segment in Muppets Now is, in all honesty, uninteresting.

Speaking of which, a lot of people are saying that this new series doesn't entirely have the same charm of the previous movies and shows. But in all honesty, it seems like this show's kinda trying to do it in its own way. The scenes where Scooter is trying to quickly upload each segment while also getting interrupted by the other muppets are kinda like the original backstage trouble scenes, and it IS trying to show different segments, but again, in a different way. This is almost like the 2015 ABC series all over again, there are some things I love about it, and some things I don't like about it. Speaking of the 2015 show, despite trying to mostly be like a reality TV show, at least there's still some good scenes, especially in the Christmas special where all of the Muppets come in with Miss Piggy to sing "It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year."

Another thing I want to point out is Matt Vogel's voice as Kermit The Frog. For those of you who don't know, after the cancellation of the 2015 Muppets series on ABC, The Walt Disney Company analyzed it, and for some odd reason didn't like how Steve Whitmire did Kermit in that series, so they just straight up fired him for that silly reason. It's really sad too since Whitmire has been doing Kermit's voice for a very long time after Jim Henson died, and he honestly did a great job doing Kermit's voice. Seeing him be fired for a stupid reason really puts me off. However, I don't think Matt Vogel is entirely that bad as Kermit, I mean, he's not perfect like Henson and Whitmire were, but his Kermit voice has improved a bit and sounds like a bit of a combination between Henson and Whitmire.

Anyhow, back to Muppets Now, I honestly do think the series still needs some adjustments, and like I said, there's some things I love about it, and some things I don't love about it. But then again, this is The Muppets, and The Muppets are like titans. They rise, they fall, they rise again, they fall aga- you get the point. Even though they can have plenty of mishaps, there will still be good things to come out of The Muppets, even if it's just a commercial for a product or a video on their YouTube channel.
