Here's a new game/story idea I've been coming up with as of lately; Shantae: Half Genie Hero: Full Story Edition!

For those who don't know, Shantae: Half Genie Hero is my all time favorite Shantae game, yes I love it even more than Pirate's Curse (incoming angry Shantae fans). It honestly had the best animation and graphics, the best music, and the best gameplay in any of the Shantae games. However there are many things in the game I either want to improve on or add/combine to make the game even better in my opinion.

The 2D design for the characters will still be the same as the original version of Half Genie Hero (I know a lot of hardcore Shantae fans prefer the Pirate's Curse designs, but I honestly feel these designs and the designs from the cutscenes of Seven Sirens are better, and are honestly not as bad as many Shantae fans claim it to be). However there will also be new animated cutscenes like in Seven Sirens, which will have the same animation as the ones from Seven Sirens, and there will be a LOT more animated cutscenes than there were in Seven Sirens as well.

There will also be a lot of changes to the story as well, for example instead of being fired, again like in Risky's Revenge and Pirate's Curse, Mayor Scuttlebutt is actually very proud of Shantae for defeating Risky Boots for once without losing (just so that The Mayor can keep his word from the end of Pirate's Curse of Shantae remaining as the Guardian Genie of Scuttle Town). However just as The Mayor congratulates Shantae for her achievement, a new face walks in and says otherwise, someone who's been mentioned in Pirate's Curse, but never actually appeared, and that is The Sequin Island Sultana. While she is impressed with Shantae actually defeating Risky Boots, she's also skeptical of if Shantae should remain as the Guardian Genie of Scuttle Town due to Risky's attack causing so much damage to The Town. And this concerns Mayor Scuttleman as he doesn’t want Scuttle Town to have no guardian genie again. The Sultana decides to pair Shantae with a secondary Guardian Genie and see how that works out, and this is obviously where we’re introduced to Holly Lingerbean. However after Holly stole almost everyone’s memories (including The Sultana herself), The Sultana immediately regrets trying to pair Shantae with a partner, but before The Sultana could do anything drastic, Uncle Mimic tells her and the mayor his plans for The Dynamo, a device that's meant to be a beacon of light and will draw pirates, monsters, and any kind of evil away from Scuttle Town. The Sultana is interested in this idea and counts on Shantae to collect the remaining pieces and prove herself to The Sultana. Unfortunately, after it was revealed that Risky Boots swapped the blueprints with her own Dynamo blueprints and was planning on using it to open a door to The Genie Realm and turn its magic dark to destroy the world, The Sultana is lost of all hope, but she doesn't even bother trying to fire Shantae again due to the fact that the world was basically going to end. Fortunately, after the final battle, The Sultana is very impressed with how Shantae, Bolo, Rottytops, Sky, and Mimic saved both their world and The Genie world, and finds all of them worthy guardians of not just Scuttle Town, but ALL of Sequin Island. She officially declares them "The Sequin Island Guardian Team."

Aside from story changes, all of the bonus modes from the past games will all be combined with the main story mode. For example, Friends To The End will be an extension of the main story; showing how Bolo, Rottytops, and Sky saved Shantae from succumbing to darkness, and ultimately showing how "Team Shantae," as I like to call it, was formed. Mainly because the dialogue for both the original story mode scene where Shantae is back to normal and the ending of Friends To The End, is very different (due to the fact that Friends To The End was originally a DLC that came out way after the original Story Mode) and there was actually something in the ending of Friends To The End that made me wish Shantae, Bolo, Rottytops, and Sky actually did stop Risky together like they mentioned, therefore missing an opportunity for all 4 of them to be playable in the final level, so in this new version I'm making that opportunity come true! Secondly instead of costumes being separate modes with changed dialogue, you'll be able to change between costumes for all 4 of the main playable characters (like in Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time). And speaking of which, another element similar to Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time will be the new version of Pirate Queen's Quest. Pirate Queen’s Quest will now be similar to the Cortex bonus missions. Where instead of replaying the same levels as Risky Boots, you play in new separate areas either close to said levels or new levels in general.

While most of the game's soundtrack will remain the same, since the original music composer for Half Genie Hero left WayForward, there will be a lot of new pieces of music composed for both newlevels and the new animated cutscenes. And that is the legendary Grant Kirkhope, music composer of Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie, Donkey Kong 64, Yooka-Laylee, Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, and the upcoming Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope.

And finally, the voice cast for this game will be BIG, and will have a lot of familiar names and such, they include….

Ross O’Donovan (yes, THE Ross from The Game Grumps) as Bolo

Cherami Leigh as Rottytops

Karen Strassman as Sky

Dee Bradley Baker as Wrench and Wilbur

Frank Welker as Mayor Scuttlebutt (using a voice similar to both Father Time from Histeria and Monty Uno/Numbuh Zero from Codename: Kids Next Door)

Colleen Clinkenbeard as The Sequin Island Sultana (using a voice similar to Erza Scarlet from Fairy Tail)

Kevin Michael Richardson as Abner Cadaver

Fred Tatasciore as Poe

Christine Marie Cabanos as The Voice From The Genie Realm, The Giga Mermaid, and Twitch

Casandra Lee Morris as Vinegar

Keith David as The Ammo Baron (using a voice similar to Dr Facilier from Princess And The Frog and King Andrias from Amphibia)
