I was kinda hoping to have a new piece to upload here, but a friend asked me to make her a tutorial about colouring and detail... i think... or maybe it was a landscape tutorial.. i dunno, anyway, this is what came out

So, the tutorial on the left is kinda general colouring. It's based on a method a guy from work showed me, and i haven't experimented that much with it myself, so i'm not sure how helpful it'll be.

The tutorial on the right is one i picked up myself. It's amount rock details in particular, but the same method could be used for stylised wood, airbrushing, whatever...

Also, i didn't want my amigo getting lost in Photoshop, so this is quite simplified. So clever clogs may get bought if you don't like being spoken to like a 5 year old
