If you're just coming to this page, but haven't read the previous comics, then it might help to explain what is going on here. Rose has just been insulted, and pretty badly, too. Alas, she's not really the type to answer insult with insult. She much prefers the more "direct" approach of physical rebuke, hehehe...

Now then, I would like to say some things about the way this comic is shaping up. I knew from the beginning that I would be making mistakes in the early pages. You can tell this if you've followed along from the early pages. Rose's attire and equipment has undergone changes throughout each page.

However, I'd like to think that things are going to start becoming more stable, visually speaking. I feel like I'm getting to the point where I can maintain more of a consistency in these small details. Having said that, ther'es going to be some small changes to come. Rose's outfit has, more or less, reached the final design stage. The only thing is, I need to add in her sash, which she has around her waist, and also the satchel on the other side of the gunbelt. Other than that, though, this is going to be the Rose we all know and love.

There are some things I still need to improve on. For example, rose's pose in the second panel is more or less correct, but the way she grips the handle of her gun, so as to whip it out and shoot at the three stooges below her could be drawn better. I still need to work on getting the fine details like that correct, and of course, the ever present need to get my shading/etching/solid blacks up to par, haha. I definitely need to work on those things.

I believe I mentioned it in an earlier journal post, but I'll say it again here. The events of Kolodruidtale: Epilogues take place after the events in my 5 novel series, the KolodruidTale main storyline. The novels, of course, haven't been finished yet, I'm working on both the novel and the webcomic concurrently. Nevertheless, the webcomic essentially provides the first taste of the World within which the main storyline takes place.
