Another Elliptic-Split(you can find a tut at [link] ) I was just kinda in a pastel mood, just doing a lot of thinking and whatnot. I was trying to make it look kinda like a flower

clearly, your time was well spent looking for just the right gradient, shadows, points of light et al!! The patience needed for that is sometimes biblical!!!

oh, it was quite tedious getting everything to look just perfect for this. i must have smoothed the image dozens of times until i found one with color bar spacing that seemed to work. and then, all the work with changing the hue, brightness, contrast, etc...it took quite some time. im glad you like it!

Very, very nice. It's curling up to the key point, in a glorious ascension to light. In the meanwhile, blue sectors fade to red downwards, compensating the uprising movement in a wonderful balance.
