I've come close to seeing a psychiatrist regarding my lack of attention to work. Luckily, I came to terms with my problem and decided enough was enough.

I hate psychologists more than psychiatrists because the psychiatrist will ask you basic evaluation questions and then push meds, a psychologists will want to actually want to TALK about your problems until their little book tells them that you're making progress. It means more time in the Psych Ward.

Personally, I disagree. I think that talking about your problems is much more therapeutic than being written off as a psychopath and being drugged stupid. Because that's who the meds are for. Real crazies.

Well, then I guess I'm a real crazy, seeing how I've had personal experiences with both of them. I've actually seen way more progress with a psychiatrist then a psychologist.
