First icon that made it to mah main gallery...GAAAH This one was like 10 times harder than any other icon I've made 8c
And since Eldripher is soo friggin big I had to make another kind of animation than the regular x'D

I'm not against Hedgehogs or anything, just to let you know. ;D I'm just, so used to seeing Hedgehogs that doesn't scream 'MARY-SUE/GARY-STU' that I begin to wonder what happened to the originality of using other species instead.

Same here, but they are indeed overused like crazy :'D Like foxes and echidnas as well... but mostly HEDGEHAWGSSS.
And yeeeeeh, teh MARY-SUEs/GARY-STUs is extremely common xD... I found one the other day that was like 'Sonic's brother' and idk how many that has been Sonic's 'brother'. x'D There are like.... 1000+
Same with Shadow. Gerald Robotnik has apparently created a lot more projects more than Shadow :'D Like also there... 10000+

Ahh, the lame excuse to make one's character 'special' by making their character(s) related to the Canon ones. c: Sometimes I would wonder if they're just plain ignorant of the world around them. I don't think they even had gotten a taste of true Imagination and Creativity yet.

I suppose everyone has been in a state where they imagine what would happen if they meet up with the canons xD It can happen in any fandom.
I find it easier to create an own world for the characters since then you don't really have to pay attention to the canons and how Mobius' story goes :'D

True, true. I must confess, I did that once too before I dropped that idea years ago~ :'D *guilty*
And the best part about creating your own world is that we unconsciously play the role of the 'Creator' with our characters. XD No offence to you or anyone, but I find that hilarious often times whenever I come to think of it.
