Characters for tales in (anyone can join our group by the way, contests coming--you might get a story illustrated).

Belmardina's mother is looking to be rid of her. So, she sends invitations out for a suitor shindig saying she's beautiful, and although she is not a wizard or a witch she has one special power that is secret and "extraordinary".

However, when her one power is spoiled prematurely, it turns out only one suitor still wants her--Blutgang, king of the Kraat. Shenanigans ensue.

I considered making Blutgang an owl because, you know... the king should be smart (hyuk hyuk) but let's be different! Pelican it is!
