Here's Francoeur from A Monster in Paris.
It's a very cute movie from our friends over in France.
It's about a little flea who gets turned huge in an accident and ends up hiding out with a singer. :3
The most fun thing about the movie is that Francoeur doesn't talk. He only sings. Otherwise he's completely pantomime.
That's the sorta stuff that's really easy to fall in love with. Haha. I had a difficult time looking up reference of him. You wouldn't believe the fan fiction porn that pops up. Yeesh! But I prevailed; I found some decent screencaps of him.

This bit of fanart always stuck in my mind, and I finally got around to seeing this film today (it's on Netflix!). Man, I was surprised at how good it was! Very simple, but I enjoyed it a lot. (Sorta wish it had been 2D rather than CG--the 2D concept art looked fantastic!)

Stop! Stop making such beautiful artwork before I get the DVD! But oh goodness that is beautiful. I love how you've drawn him, and the coloring and the detail. I remember the first time I heard La Seine, it was the clip from the movie. And there was just this HUGE dude being all cute with a guitar, and he jumps down and I expected him to have this deep rough voice, but it was the most heavenly thing in the world and I died from all the beauty.
And I do not want to read that fanfiction.
