It seems Otto doesn't much like being touched. He's been alone too long, methinks.Some strange behavior from Jupiter here. What does that expression in the second panel even mean? :0

Also, what a coincidence that I compared Jupiter to David Bowie a few pages back... now he's got heterochromia like the Thin White Duke himself

I think he has some sort of anisocoria -- his pupil is permanently dilated, not that one eye is a different color. 
But yea, he does kinda have a David Bowie vibe.

Yeah, I know. A friend in his youth punched him, and one of them is dilated more than the other, but sometimes it appears that the eyes are different colors. I was just trying to get my David Bowie point across

Jupiter's mysterious expression... his own ability to read human emotions is failing. He failed to realize before he made the mistake that Otto doesn't like being touched. Jupiter recognizes that he is perhaps in worse shape, operationally, than he anticipated.

He definitely knows more. Otto reminds him of someone he once knew. Or perhaps he can read people when he touches them, hence the pained look after grabbing Otto's shoulder, and quickly letting go. Should be interesting!
