My entry into the "Theme Parks" contest.
This is yet another one I did in only a few hours. I swear I'll take my time on something again someday.
So! This is the thermal scanning droid from the "pre-show" (standing in line) at Star Tours: The Adventures Continue at Disneyland.
The droids at the attraction are really charming animatronics. This one I've pictured is the thermal scanning droid, G2-4T who "scans" you as you stand in line. He's voiced by Patrick Warburton (Best known to Disney fans as the voice of Kronk in The Emperor's New Groove).
The droids talk for minutes on end -- I think each of them talks for something like twenty minutes, so unfortunately you have to move before you can hear it all.
Originally I'd only drawn the robot, but after that I thought it'd look kinda lame without onlookers so I added some park goers including a dolled up girl with minnie mouse ears and a butthead with a camera phone.
Anyway, it's a really fun ride, and you never know what worlds you'll get from the Star Wars franchise, so it's worth going on more than once.

LOVE the style of this and the colors are gorgeous! I like the look of the phone screen taking a picture A LOT. I love how it stands out. Also the little girl in the dress is a very nice touch.

Yup! The old version of the ride only had one destination, but now you get multiple different ones at random.

I like that the Disney park people recycled their old animatronics for some of the robots in there. They're still doing like Walt told them.

I've always loved those G2 droids.^^ They kinda remind me of Johnny 5 from Short Circuit.
I love the colors in this. And I think it was a good idea to add in some people. Nice touch with the Minnie ears and camera phone. There's always someone with a camera phone.XD Good luck!
