Can’t let go

Antonio never could have imagined, when he graduated from college 5 years ago, that he would end up living his live-in high heels and mini dresses.

He had always been told that a college degree would open doors, that the world would be his oyster. The reality he found was rejection after rejection as he struggled to find any job that payed the bills. As an eighteen-year-old, he had inherited a decent sized chuck of money, but it would not last forever.

3 months after graduating, tragedy struck as his sister Andrea, died in a freak accident. They had been living together in a small apartment at the time, she was his only living relative and without her Antonio had no one.

6 months after graduating Andrew was depressed and desperate, he only had enough money for 2 more month’s rent at most, after that he was going to be homeless.

He still could not find a job and spend his days looking through Andrea’s online accounts, she had been an online influencer, making a decent amount of money each month by posting fashion and product review. He still had her phone and knew how to unlock it; the phone also remembered all her online passwords. Antonio watched day after day as her followers dwindled and her presence diminished. His heart ached as each person moved on, it felt like he was losing her over and over as day by day someone else forgot about her and moved on with their life.

One day, logged on to Andrea’s Insta account, drunk and angry he did something he shouldn’t have, he posted a message, it red “Why is everybody unsubscribing, I’m not gone”?

Andrew watched stunned over the next hour as hundreds of replies popped up, asking where Andrea had been and why she had not posted in months. Drunk and not thinking straight, he started to reply to the messages. Every reply he typed made him smile, it felt as though Andrea was back with him and not really gone.

The more he posted the more requests came in for a new fashion post and after finishing off a bottle of wine, he got up and stumbled into Andrea’s room.

Walking over to a pile of dusty parcels, piled in the corner of the room, he started ripping them open. They were full of free samples of clothes, shoes and jewelry, which companies would send her to promote their bands.

Committed to his crazy idea, Antonio selected a red corduroy skirt, a pair of black tights to cover the hairs on his legs and a pair of high looking platform heels, he put them on and stared down at his feminine looking legs. With his lower body looking quite alien but also quite sexy, to his intoxicated mind, he started snapping photos.

Waking up the next morning, groggy and hung over, he glanced at Andrea phone to see hundreds of notifications. Opening her account, the reality of what he had done dawned on him, lied to thousands of people and in a way brought his sister back to life, not physically but in the minds of her thousands of followers.

But as he read message after message of people ecstatic that Andrea was back posting again, he smiled and felt happy for the first time in months.

Things just snowballed from there as Antonio started making daily posts, as time went by, he started to feminize his body to make posting pictures easier. Trips to the beauty salon for waxing, hair styling, manicures and pedicures became a weekly event as he grew more and more comfortable impersonating his sister.

With his makeup and hair done the way Andrea used to do hers, he found he looked almost exactly like her, especially after a few Botox appointments. This gave him confidence to start showing his face in posts, and to his surprise, even doing close up makeup tutorials, no-one every commented about him not being the real Andrea.

As the months turned into years, and the money rolled in, which he could access through Andrea online account from her phone, Antonio started to think of himself as Andrea. He was now living her life and after a few surgeries giving him bouncy breasts and a curvy figure, he looked exactly like her.

So, five years after graduating, sat in his luxurious new apartment in front of the window, wearing a tight blue mini dress, that showed a lot of very real cleavage, and towering high heeled sandals that were tough to walk for long in, he posed for a photo.

The old Antonio didn’t exist anymore as he lived full time as Andrea, the popular online fashion influencer. The question was, did Antonio regret his decision. No way, He had had his sister back and was bringing to thousands of online fans, her life was much more interesting than Antonio’s ever was, he would make sure she got to live it to the fullest.
