Love that composition. The subject matter is troubled, yet somehow feels incomplete. The monochromatic effects work to your advantage, stirring feelings of tension. Overall, an unusual and potent work.
(I do feel that that there is a mismatch in visual detail between the skull and the surrounding images. This should probably be made either more emphatic, or less so. Right now, the ambiguity of it gets in the way of establishing a unified visual space.)
Of course just opinions from another painter. Feel free to disregard if you feel like it.

You're right, the skull does have a little more detailed realism than everything else, probably because its the only thing I had some reference for!
I had just bought myself a new skull model from anatomytools.com and was perhaps a little overzealous in translating details.
I don't really go back to change anything in my work, I prefer to realize the errors and move on to new work instead. But your opinion is none the less valid and valued. Thanks again!

It feels like it is in some dimension right under ours. Same, with some subtle differences. I also love the pink glow. And the detail on that skull.

Love it Du1l, I really like black and white with a bit of color. Your geometric shapes are really quite interesting, they remind me of the mid and early nineties, only with the colors sucked out of them.
