Great work dude, I love the lighting effect.
The zoombie image makes the person feelingless, and this way it takes the pain symbol away "brain hurts". So I prefer the other version, where he is more alive and the bloody colors underlines both pain, human flesh, and the red sunset in the background.
All those thick veins and arteries makes it look like a heart not a brain, is it by purpose?
