Description Also, although I'm not there that often, I'm still more active than on Deviantart and you can follow me here:ducklooney.tumblr.com/

I posted this a year ago, on the occasion of Huey’s, Dewey’s and Louie’s birthdays, albeit belatedly. I wanted to post here for April 15, but I was busy with something else so I didn’t get there. Although with a delay, I definitely wish a birthday to the best triplets. However, they have two birthdays, the first is on October 17, because they first appeared in the comic book "Donald's Nephews" in 1937 on that date, and the second is on April 15 because of the then date of 1938, when they first appeared shown in the animation “Donald’s Nephews,” which was then called Donald’s classic short. Maybe I will do something more for their birthday on October 17, this is just my part of showing their development from little boys to mature teenagers. This is the first part, the second part is here:

I have to definitely say that Huey Dewey and Louie Duck are like Donald’s nephews, the best Disney characters in my opinion after Donald Duck and Goofy because they are really very funny and really reminiscent of boys their age. I mean of course the classic version.

I’m sorry we can’t see more drawings where different versions of HDL come together for their birthday, as well as their relationships, which could become disastrous. I’m kidding of course, but I’m certainly more for it, to see different versions of Donald’s nephews in one place on the occasion of their jubilee. I'm even more disappointed in people who think that there are only two or three versions of themselves (HDL), and haven't even read comics, in which Donald's nephews have a leading role. So I singled out seven versions (next time I’ll put them all together, as well as their versions of superheroes on another occasion). For the first part, as seen in this drawing are the following versions:

1. Donald Duck steps out-Donald Duck's classic shorts
They first appeared in the classic short "Donald's Nephews" where their mother Della Duck sent them to go to her brother Donald and be taken care of by Donald Duck. Mostly they are naughty kids who torture their uncle who is constantly angry at them. Of course, sometimes the boys help their uncle, but sometimes their uncle is a heavy jerk and showers them with his jokes, but in the end Donald Duck suffers a lot because of his stupidity. In the classic short "Trick or Treat", HDL have a special role in which, with the help of the witch Hazel, they take revenge on their uncle who showered them with unsalted jokes, which is why HDL didn't get sweets for Halloween, but got an adventure with the witch Hazel.
I singled out "Donald Duck steps out" here, because the HDL dressed like early 20th century boys who go to take pictures, but go with Donald to his girlfriend Daisy Duck and joke with him, but their clothes are certainly characteristics for their first development. Yes, for each of their versions, I put everyone wearing caps in line with that cartoon, as well as with the time itself.
2. Junior Woodchucks-Disney Duck (Donald Duck comics) comics
This includes comics by Al Taliaferro, Ted Obsorne, Carl Barks, Don Rosa, Romano Scarpa and other authors who drew them. A special exception is Carl Barks, who is an excellent writer who created a group of scouts who will complete the characters of Donald's nephews so that they are no longer naughty, but smart and noble boys. Of course, I mean Junior Woodchucks, a group of scouts who go HDL on new adventures, also use the Junior Woodchucks book (Guide to Junior Woodchucks) as a travel aid they go on with Uncle Donald and Grandpa-Uncle Scrooge. They are also moral verticals towards Scrooge and Donald, who are in conflict with each other. Of course, sometimes HDL also quarrels with each other, quite for boys their age, but they also reconcile with each other. They also become protectors of nature and animals and meet new friends, but also new enemies.
3.Original Ducktales plus European comics (Italian and Dutch comics)
Their version becomes more complete with the 1987 OG Ducktales series in which Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck get their final look as well as their own traits. Although they look the same except in the color of their clothes (Huey wears a red suit, Dewey blue, and Louie green), they still have different personalities such as Huey being the leader of the group, Dewey the brain of the group, and Louie a good triplet of that group, who helps his brothers in need. In that series, they were certainly exciting who went on adventures with Scrooge and met new worlds. They also face new dangers.
Their look, although they will still wear a black T-shirt in the comics, will be adopted in most of the comics he exhibits in both Europe and Latin America. A special story is in Italy and the Netherlands (I mean their comics), where HDL, although they keep their look, still have a much better role than they have in cartoons. In Italian comics, they have their own company, and they also become superheroes who help Donald and Daisy (Paperinik (Duck Avenger) and Paperinika (Super Daisy)). In Dutch comics, especially in the Duckies comics, they have a lot of trouble at school, and they also have good friends and sometimes have conflict, and sometimes harmony with Daisy's nieces (April, May and June Duck).
