Another idea of worldbuilding in my Hunger series - I think it would make sense in the series if animals that produce or spread poison would have careers as toxicologists or poison brewers - be it for altruistic or evil gains.

So I have new character designs here for both frog and rat toxicologists (the animals in question are a natterjack toad, a red eyed tree frog, a phantasmal poison frog and two lab rats.) I had a lot of fun with the designs of the clothing of the characters.

Some of these animals are free to study poisons and applications for their own purposes, but there are some who get hired by clients (some choosing to remain anonymous) to use poisons for unknown (and sometimes ulterior ) purposes, but for many poisonous/disease prone animals who are otherwise ostracised or shunned for being poisonous, they welcome any kind of work they can receive.
