Ah, okay. To be honest, a lot of them are pretty much just based on really loving the designs or in the case of the older ones, being ones that I grew up with and have really loved since childhood.

Some of your favorites match mine, like Aurorus, Miltank, Wailord, and Appletun, although you chose Trubbish instead of my favorite, Skuntank. I do like Trubbish and Garbodor.

I've seen some new Gen 8 Pokemon be announced recently like Zarude, so this may change again in the future - but then again, my opinions are nearly always changing with favourite Pokemon.
