oh... I couldnt stop saying 'wow' the first time I saw this.. it's fucking amazing... the concept I mean. It's brilliant. I understand entirely and I can so totally relate with this.. how to deal with pain..and the way the 'T' is sort of falling, seperated from the word paint so it says pain...the way you're resting on the paint pallet.... and the concept of putting on the makeup.. covering up the pain.. I can relate to this on so many levels as an artist and as a human being... and the technical to this photo is perfect... the lighting, and the contrast... and the actual makeup/paint.... absolutely gorgeous work.

Thank you very much! I personally find this to be one of my trippiest deviations. I must say, you're the one who inspired me to make cool and artistic use of pain([t] (i used to just use eyeliner before), so thanks a lot for that too

ahh, well I'm glad to have inspired you.... I might as well tell you... [dont get your hopes up though] but I recommended this to ^serpentinekiss as a daily deviation... I pretty much doubt she'll do it, because she and the other admins tend to be so picky..I've recommended alot of people..and none of them have gotten it.. but I guess it's the thought that counts. I just love this piece.. so I had to do it. I'm sorry if she doesnt choose it..but usually you have to wait a couple weeks or a week to find out if it shows up in the Daily Devs. So... good luck, I guess.

Your photos are becoming much deeper and more profound in what they aim to depict.
Concept is great. Masking your own emotion... it's like you're sacrificing your own feelings in order for others to feel secure.

Damn, I love this. For some reason the colours you used gets one to realize how pain must really feel like. The bright colours are so different than how pain is used to colour that this makes one actually see it in a new way. Deal with it by masking it with happiness. Smile when you cry inside and it hurts a lot more even if you don't notice it.

i think it would be better if the text was part of the shot. like if it was written on your face with the eyeliner or something.
