A beautiful and tragic love story for them both
Lyanna never wanted to marry Robert because he is a cheater and doesn't see the real Lyanna and will only cheat on her, and Rhaegar was always sad and Viserys said he was unhappy being with Elia so there must have been some issues going on that we don't know about between them. And when Lyanna and Rhaegar met, it was a match made in Heaven but people around them made it into Hell, from Aerys, Robert and probably Elia.
And they died a tragic deaths, but thankfully are reunited in the Afterlife.

no i meant how small incidents and moments in time can set several events in motion that change the course of human history. For example ceasar crossing the rubicon or archduke franz ferdinand getting shot, after that things just got more and more fucked up.
