First off, I'd like to say that you're nailing the whole comic book style. I really like the style you're doing since there are no blank spaces in between panels. the fact that you picked a scene that could be a BG pic and made it that was a very good idea to eliminate those blank spaces. I also like how the panes overlap sometimes like the phone, and also the way you censor brands ( I'm not so sure on what you call substituting the logo for a similar one is called)
Anyway, on to the details. The characters are drawn perfectly in my opinion. their facial expressions are perfect. Especially how you manage to make Alvin look almost too peaceful in his sleep.
About the BG now, it's really great too! perfect shading and perspective. I was just thinking that the window to the left also needs some light to shine through because it just seems a bit odd. I have this thing about the BG too, why are the windows open when Alvin's still asleep? When I think about it at least the windows should be less opened. Also the window to the top, they don't seem to have curtains. I find absolutely no problem with the pic other than those little details. But I feel that you might've not thought of that because your attention to detail is very impressive! you thought of what you could possibly put in the room and make it seem so real. ( the toys, books, computer, etc.)
Anyway, overall terrific job! can't wait for the next page and keep up the good work!

Regarding the windows, I figured Simon would have opened them when he woke up, just in hopes of encouraging Alvin to wake up at a decent hour, haha. The layout of the room was more or less lifted directly from the tv show and movies <3
