Like I said with the other all-five-star critique, it doesn't make sense to give this comic a five on originality. Alvin and Simon are a widely used couple, the chipmunks themselves are a widely used fandom, and to be honest the only truly original thing here is the art style and the plot.

this is absolutely outstanding! your past few comics have been a pleasure to see. you are a magnificent artist and i mean it. if there was one chipmunk artist that i would adore would be you, absolutely you. the background is well drawn, wait not well drawn it was greatly drawn. i hope u never stop drawing the chipmunks. this is your specialty! forever love the chipmunks, and forever love duiker! you should do some tutorials on how you make your comics. i'm should your tutorials will be as amazing as always. that i all i have to say friend and have a wonderful day.

I agree with all the text in this review, but the originality score is too high. Alvin and Simon is a widely used pairing and as such the originality score is definitely not five stars.

A great comic so far, and this page is no exception. Alvin looks great in all his pajama-clad glory, even when half asleep. The comic looks as if it was drawn by the original animators, brilliant! It has a good storyline so far, and I'm sure anyone who has read it will be itching for the next page the instant the finish this one. Of course, the pairing is widely used, so the originality score of the piece suffers. However, it's an interesting plot nonetheless. There is also a slight continuity issue, not that it really matters. This issue is that in page 4, Alvin appeared in boxer briefs, while in page 5 he appears to be in plain briefs. Yeah, the briefs, haha! When I was drawing this page I decided I'd rather have him wearing those than boxer-briefs. More cute, I think. I could go back and change them, but... I'll chock it up to the story Simon was reading, or something! Much more conducive to my laziness.

Aha, I see. Yeah, he's so much cuter in this page than the last, and I think that change helps. ^^ I would say that whether or not to change them is up to you, but if not, saying it was part of the story would make sense.

This is amazing. I love the emotions, the shading, the realism of the background. Not to mention the way you draw the chipmunks. It's extremely accurate and cute. I can't wait to see more.
