Don't kill me pokemon nutheads, I like it too. It's just not as good as it used to be. what you see is a result of what has gotten out of hand.might do a digimon one soon. I just watched the entire series on youtube. the ENTIRE series. that means from the 7 kids falling into a mega waterfall, to Taichi becoming an ambassador. i swear to god, if you watch it, the nostalgia will make you want to cry...

1. You exaggerated that, Tutorials in the pokemon games are seldom that lengthy or annoying, they are actually implemented pretty well and teach you the ins and outs of gaming by showing you rather than telling you with a text box. Besides, those tutorials are very nifty for first time players (of which there are probably tens if not hundreds more with each new generation of pokemon).
2. Thats what a repel is for, you can buy repels, super repels, or even max repels from pokemarts (or pokemon centers in gen v and x/y), just use that wealth of money that you've surely accumulated from selling shit and pokemon battles and buy yourself a stack, problem solved. As for the times when you don't have any, just stay out of long grass as much as you can.
3. Gambing issues? where? I've never had any nor seen anyone else who has, i'm afraid i don't see your issue with this one, especially considering there isn't much gambling evident in the latest games.
4. Not really much of an issue, some legendaries have a high catch rate or are scripted to be caught, and as for the others, i've really only gotten frustrated a few times. Having plenty of ultraballs or a master ball if you can get your hands on it can reduce this issue and even eliminate it as far as a master ball is concerned.
5. Thats... Not a reason, you cannot say the games suck just because you happen to not like the anime dosen't mean the games suck. By the way, starting with Black & White (Best Wishes in japan) Nintendo has taken over dubbing the anime, so you can't hate on the anime because 4kids anymore, because 4kids no longer handles the anime.

I was a fan of Pokemon, up until I searched "Lucario" on DA and on the 5th deviation it was a lucario butt, and a crapton of hogtie fetishes.

In something as old as Harvest Moon they let you skip tutorials. WHY NOT IN FUCKING POKEMON?!?!?!

I have seriously counted. In Sapphire I have tried to capture Rayquaza 96 times. 96. I'm not even kidding. And I never succeeded. It was always I either ran out of PokeBalls, or he killed himself. Every. Single. Freakin. Time.

Other than force tutorials, the games have gotten better. Encounters make Pokes more over leveled. That or you could just use Repels...

hey i start understanding pokemon really in gen lll (that hoenn, firered and leafgreen) i do agree with the tutorial and too much pokemon in the grass. and pokemon games got bad in gen lV but it got good in gen V. the anime was good in gen lV but when down hill in gen V. but now with the black and white 2 in the anime and dawn, Cynthia, and pokemon from other regions coming back all is some what good

Hmmm... Personally, my reaction to this comic is mixed. I agree with the tutorials, I agree with the anime, even partially agree with the gambling, but how else are you supposed to capture Pokemon, and the Legendaries are AWESOME!
