Description
This baroque castle in the south of Dusseldorf was built by the elector for his wife to live there after his death (rather foreward looking of him. Nice guy ).
I did this one on a hot summer evening on a park bench in the shade, overlooking the castle pond and enjoying the cool. I really liked the way the branches and leaves covered part of the building. This picture only remotely captures the atmosphere.

Schloss Benrath im Süden von Düsseldorf wurde vom Kurfürsten als Witwensitz für seine Gemahlin gebaut (sehr vorausschauend von ihm; netter Kerl )
Dieses Bild entstand an einem heißen Sommerabend auf einer Parkbank auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite des Schlossteichs. Die Äste und Blätter verdeckten ganze Teile des Gebäudes. Dieses Bild gibt die Stimmung nur bedingt wider.
