Looking back on your art and seeing it now, it's literally as if it's a different person - How fascinating.
It's also interesting to note the evolution of Lara Ravencroft in to a more flushed out character over the years.

I've always respected you, though - I thought you were the most human of the many 'Famous' artists on the Internet. You posted things about your own problems, your ideals, and so on. c:
You wouldn't draw just about anything for commissions, you have tight, more-than-respectable guidelines for asking for said commissions, and you're able to put your foot down and say; "I'm not drawing this anymore."
I have seen no other artist with as many followers as you do that.
It's a thing of byouty. 's byoutiful.

Asdfdghdl that's super really kind of you; thanks for that! I uh...try to be me as much as I can, cos I hate the idea of ever being some phony-ass liar claiming to be something any more than what I already am.
And yesss, commissions are very sensitive for me, cos I've been screwed over a number of times before by people who don't know what "Disgusting" is. :I Like, I'm sorry, giant couch-sized genitals with pillow cushion lips? I'm an artist, not some black magic sorcerer.
As for like Lara--I hated how I started her off, or at least had her character in the beginning. When I first made her, she was just like this random side character that became a neko/vampire/whatever mary sue-ass sue. I always hated myself for making her so cliche, so I just doused her with some freckles, made her a frigging regular-ass bipolar girl who happened to have animal ears for no explicable reason, aaand made her a sugar junkie. IN OTHER WORDS, I just like to mess with her character as like, a parody of my earlier teenage self making all those horribly over-the-top characters.

I understand that completely. :I Contrary to the people who enjoy female pectoral tissue the size and mass of the fucking PLANET, there is indeed such a thing as too much.
But, you know, opinions, don't state them on the Internet.
I was about to say; "That made her kind of original," but then I realized, no-one has a human for their character. It's usually Jesus who just happens to look like a man with enormous pecks or whatever - Even I don't have a normal human character. The most normal one is the brother of my 'Main' character. ( I never put this stuff on to deviantArt, I just talk about it. Maybe I should, like, draw what I talk about for once. ) But, yeah, making a completely normal human character is probably the most unique thing one could do - Even if her blood is blue and her boyfriend is a cross between Freddy Krueger, the Medic from Team Fortress 2, Freaky Fred, and that Jon/John guy from the Shining. Also Jason or something and a Chain Chomp or whatever. ( Doctor Rancid is the greatest thing ever, tho )

UGH, yeah, it's hard to actually get across to peeps on here about how bigger doesn't always mean better, if not RARELY (unless we're talking about a bigger slice of pizza for a man who loves pizza, as opposed to a smaller slice of pizza).
I really want some pizza now, damning diets are enraging my sweet tooth here.
Oh ya, opinions once again--man I hated Pacific Rim. The aesthetics and animations were great but daaang the story sucked imo. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Annnd yeah, I've had many tendencies to pull a Mary Sue outta my pockets every time I come up with a character--best thing to do with them is give them human folly. Also yes, Dr. Rancid is super fun; my girlfriend is like, 200% more creative than I am.

You know, the more I hear about Specific Krim, the more I really start to dislike it. It sounds like it was clichéd to the n'th degree, with "Meat-headed Jock A, Muscular Structure J, Generic idiotic Marine personality sub-structure Q." and so on.
It's all part of the creative process - Mary Sue characters are ( usually and hopefully ) only the first step on creating a unique character. c:
